Have you ever asked whether it's best to do cardio before
or after weights / resistance training?

Have you ever watched a hard-core body builder sitting
at a machine in the gym doing nothing for what seems like
an eternity ?

If your reasons for working out are in order of importance:
- lose weight, lose fat, smaller clothes size
- get a flat tummy
- tone up and put some shape into arms, shoulders
- increase your endurance
- strengthen your heart;

Then the best way to workout is to integrate cardio,
weights, resistance and stretching into a single well
planned workout session.

During my workouts the whole hour is filled with activity.
You might rest for a minute to take a drink or let the heart
rate come down to a comfortable level but you do not sit
for minutes on end. Cardio and strength alternate so
muscles are continuously challenged and the calorie burn
is kept at maximum. This is the kind of workout that is just
about impossible to do in a gym but very natural for a
home workout.
